Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
What you pay for
Payments on this platform are dues owed to the housing society: maintenance charges, sinking and repair fund contributions, amenity booking charges and other amounts the society bills under its bye-laws. They are services provided by the society. Nothing is shipped. A receipt is issued electronically as soon as a payment is confirmed.
Cancelling a payment
- You can cancel an online payment at any point before you complete it on the payment page. Nothing is charged and nothing is recorded as paid.
- A payment that has been confirmed cannot be cancelled. It is credited to your member ledger against your dues. If it was made in error, ask for a refund as described below.
Failed or pending payments
If money left your account but the platform does not show the payment as received, do not pay again straight away. The platform checks pending payments with the payment gateway automatically. If the gateway confirms the payment, it is credited and a receipt is issued. If the gateway reports it as failed, your bank or payment app returns the money, usually within 5 to 7 working days. A payment is never shown as received unless the gateway has confirmed it.
Duplicate and excess payments
If you pay the same bill twice or pay more than you owe, the extra amount is held as an advance on your member ledger and adjusted automatically against your next bills. If you would rather have it refunded, contact the society office with the receipt number. The treasurer reviews the request, and an approved refund is recorded as an audited adjustment on your ledger.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds of online payments go back to the original payment method. After the society issues a refund, banks and payment networks typically take 5 to 7 working days to credit it. Payments made at the office in cash or by cheque are refunded by cheque or bank transfer to the member.
Amenity bookings
Charges for booking society amenities follow the cancellation rules shown on each amenity’s booking page, as set by the managing committee.
Disputes
If you believe a charge is wrong, raise it with the society office before contacting your bank. Every bill on the platform shows how it was calculated, and every correction is recorded with a reason.
Contact
The society’s office address and contact details will appear here once the society completes its first-time setup.
